“Welcome Back, Bitches!”
Ginny and Austin have been living with Zion in Boston for the past 2 weeks. Ginny experiences nightmares about Georgia. Marcus struggles with Ginny’s departure. Georgia pretends to be fine with her kids gone. Cynthia’s husband, Tom, is very ill. Ginny’s grandparents come around for dinner. Paul takes Georgia to meet his parents for Thanksgiving. As Zion’s parents leave, Ginny overhears them talk about how she isn’t okay. Georgia overhears Paul and his parents talk about how they don’t think she is right for him. He is insistent on marrying her. Ginny continues to burn herself. Georgia calls Zion and the two agree that they will come home for friyay. Ginny has a panic attack in front of him when she finds out that she has to see Georgia again. She tells him about her self harming, he says that she can live with him but he wants to tell Georgia about it and put her in therapy. When they arrive back in Wellsbury, Ginny returns Marcus’s bike and asks him to forgive her for leaving, stealing his bike and ignoring his texts. Austin forgives Georgia. Zion, Georgia, Paul, Ginny and Austin have an awkward friyay dinner. Meanwhile, Abby goes to Max’s house, she tries to continue a MAN tradition and apologises once again. Max kicks her out. Georgia confronts Ginny about thinking she is an ‘evil mom’. Zion tells her that Ginny is moving in with him. She refuses so he attempts to tell her about Ginny’s self harming. To stop him, she agrees to move back home. Gabriel discovers that Georgia was married to Anthony Green before Kenny, he mysteriously disappeared. Ginny burns herself again. Zion books a therapy session for Ginny. Marcus climbs into Ginny’s room, the two share a deep conversation before Ginny asks him to stay the night.
Flashbacks show the day of the election, Georgia comes home to find her kids gone and her wolfsbane flowers burned, she cries on the floor. They also show Georgia working on Thanksgiving and inventing friyay so Ginny can still have a nice holiday. Zion joins them for a friyay celebration.

“Why Does Everything Have to Be So Terrible, All the Time, Forever?”
It’s Ginny’s first day back at school and her first therapy session, Marcus has stayed the night for the last 3 nights. Georgia asks Paul to move in. She tells Ginny, going against the plan. She tells Austin too and apologises for not sending the letters to his dad, he forgives her. As Ginny walks into school, her old friends see her and ignore her. Marcus doesn’t call her over. Abby sits alone. Tensions rise between Nick and Georgia. She plans to join the Neighbourhood Club but finds out she needs a sponsor to join so she visits Cynthia. She has empathy because of Kenny’s death but is just there for a sponsorship. Bracia and Ginny practise lines for the Winter Musical, they talk about Marcus and Bryon, a boy Bracia likes. Zion takes her to the therapy session, she talks about her childhood and her self-harming. Ginny is upset when Marcus doesn’t come over. Gabriel tells Kenny’s ex-wife about Anthony’s disappearance. When Zion drops Ginny off, Georgia is annoyed to be out of the loop. Max stalks Sophie’s Instagram. Georgia throws out all the food in the house to spite Ginny. Gabriel lets her know he knows about Anthony. Nick confronts her about embezzling, she stops him from telling Paul by saying that he failed to protect him, also if news gets out then Paul’s mayorship would be at risk. Max and Sophie have an awkward conversation. The cast list is out: Max is the evil witch, Bracia is the main character, Bryon is her love interest. Ginny goes to Blue Farm and convinces Joe to give her her job back. Cynthia tells the club not to let Georgia in. She finds out and gets drunk. Paul tells Ginny that he wants to be there for her and Austin. She finds out from Paul that Austin’s father took credit cards out in his name, she looks up her credit score and finds out that it was Georgia not Gil. She goes to Marcus’s house to prevent hurting herself. He tells her that he fell asleep the night before. Ginny runs into Max when leaving. The next morning, Ginny makes Paul a smoothie, reminding Georgia of the one that she killed Kenny with.
Flashbacks show Georgia going to her old biker gang, traumatised, to get rid of Anthony’s body.
Episodes 03
“What Are You Playing at, Little Girl?”
Tensions rise after Georgia learns that Ginny knows what happened to Kenny. Ginny steals the credit card under Austin’s name. Ms. Jakob tells Georgia that Austin’s behind in class and says he might have anxiety and need counselling. Ginny’s secrecy starts getting to Marcus. Zach befriends Austin. Georgia looks into wedding dresses. She suggests that Paul takes money from his parents, he refuses. At Ginny’s therapy session, she is given tools to help stop self-harming. She buys Austin a game claiming he should get something out of the card in his name. Marcus asks about the secrecy, she brushes him off so he leaves. She tries to write in the notebook but can’t. Georgia continues to try to get into The Neighbourhood Club. Sophie goes to Blue Farm with her new boyfriend, Abby and Ginny share horrified glances. Georgia asks Zion about the wedding as he’s her only friend. Bracia is upset about how the casting pictures turned out so Ginny takes her to Zion’s house and he professionally photographs them. Hunter’s band rehearse a song he wrote about Ginny, the friends start to worry about him. Zion is happy to see Ginny making black friends, he suggests writing poems in her notebook. Ginny struggles to tell Marcus about her feelings, so she writes a poem for him. Abby tells Max about Sophie’s new boyfriend but Max get’s annoyed at her for it. She and Ginny skip and smoke together. They talk about her parents divorce, how Ginny is dating Marcus now and how much they hate their old friends. Georgia finally convinces Cynthia to get her in the club. Ginny and Padma bond when she’s high at work. In an argument, Ginny mentions Mary, triggering a panic attack in Georgia. Ginny confesses to Marcus that her mom killed her stepdad, he promises not tell anyone. Georgia tells her that she killed him for her family and she would do it again if necessary.
Flashbacks show Georgia failing to make friends with Ginny at her side. She uses her to steal clothes.
Episodes 04
“Happy My Birthday to You”
After Ginny and Georgia make up, she catches Marcus sneaking in, they smoke together and talk about his intentions with Ginny. Ginny plans a party for Marcus’s birthday. Paul and Georgia clash about parenting techniques when he finds out Marcus snuck in and that she doesn’t want Austin to go to counselling. She plans a party at The Neighbourhood Club. Max invites Sophie to her birthday. Abby, Marcus and Ginny skip and smoke again. Paul upsets Georgia when he makes the city’s website without running it by her. Max is oblivious to Silver liking her, she invites her to her party. Cynthia stays at Blue Farm all day, not wanting to see Tom because he’s forgotten her name. Joe struggles with his unrequited love for Georgia. Georgia apologises to Ellen and they make up. Marcus and Max argue about him taking her friends. Paul tries to ask why Georgia won’t get Austin help, resulting in an argument. She asks Ginny to be her maid of honour. Norah makes up with Abby and Ginny, disappointing Max. Gabriel discovers that Georgia was never looked into for Anthony’s death. Ginny and Max argue but they make up when she finds out that Ginny loves Marcus. They merge parties as Max’s plans fell through. At the party, Max apologises to Abby. Bracia and Bryon dance together. Max upsets Silver when she talks about Sophie. Georgia finds out Ginny’s throwing a party and alerts Ellen. Ginny and Hunter finally talk about the breakup. Joe and Cynthia bond over heartbreak and hockey. Marcus asks Ginny to be his girlfriend. The parents crash the party. Paul and Georgia talk it out. Ginny calls Dr. Lily to stop herself from self-harming and has a mental breakdown.
Flashbacks show Georgia lying about Ginny being sick so they can stay in the house longer.
Episodes 05
“Latkes Are Lit”
Georgia is neck-deep in planning for the wedding, the Neighbourhood Club party and a fundraiser for women and children. Mr. Gitten asks Ginny to pick a book to add to the syllabus about the Black American experience. Bracia gets Bryon for Secret Santa, while Max gets Silver. Georgia apologises to Nick and asks him to be her bridesman. Padma and Ginny pitch the idea of an open mic to Joe. Georgia decides on the theme of murder-mystery for her party, which Ginny finds sadistic, and invites Cynthia. Ginny and Zion have dinner, he realises how much he hasn’t been told recently and advises her on what to do about the book. She tells Marcus to give closure to Padma and they discuss Georgia’s ballsy move. Georgia drills her windows shut. She arranges for Zion and Paul to meet and talk things out. Max begins to see Silver differently. Ginny and Dr. Lily talk about Georgia as a mother. Joe listens in on Paul and Zion’s conversation about Georgia, Zion asks him to look out for Ginny and keep him in the loop. The friends get high in Brodie’s basement, he makes a comment about Abby’s weight triggering her body image issues. Paul argues with Georgia about a gun he found in the house, he throws it out, she claims it’s the only one. Ginny stops Georgia from getting Mr. Gitten fired. At the open mic, Padma sings the song she wrote about Marcus. They both convince Ginny to read her poem. Georgia walks in and hears the poem about her. Cynthia kisses Joe but instantly regrets it. Ginny apologises but Georgia is too upset to be receptive. Gil arrives at Austin’s school.
Flashbacks show Georgia giving a hungry Ginny her own food. Her plans for a baby-sitter fall through so her date, Gil, comes in and they get delivery.
Episodes 06
“A Very Merry Ginny & Georgia Christmas Special”
Georgia is still upset about Ginny’s poem. She stresses about having Paul’s family over for Christmas Eve. Marcus advises Ginny on what to do about Georgia. Paul gets annoyed when Georgia posts a thirst trap of him on the mayoral Instagram. Max messages Sophie, missing her. Bryon asks Bracia to go to a football match. Ginny and Georgia walk in on Zion on a date with Simone, she accidentally invites Zion’s family to the Christmas Eve dinner. Austin finds a gun when looking for presents. Gabriel discovers that Georgia’s lawyer has a connection to her old gang. Paul acts as a ‘Mall Santa’ for the carnival. Cynthia apologises for kissing Joe. Paul and Georgia argue about how she doesn’t respect him. Max meets Sophie in the Kissing Booth but gets her heart broken instead. Marcus leaves for Christmas. Ginny argues with Georgia because she should know she’s struggling from the poem. She burns herself again. Georgia feels attacked by Lynette as she mentions Kenny, Gil, her lack of education and Ginny’s upbringing so she leaves. She knows Lynette was right about everything. Joe cheers her up. She makes up with Paul. Cynthia and Joe have sex. Gil arrives on Christmas and claims he’s changed. Georgia reads Ginny’s notebook. Discovering Ginny self-harms, she calls Zion, he says he has her in therapy already. She forces Ginny to show her the scars and they talk about why she does it. She apologises for missing it and they cry together.
Flashbacks show Gil buying gifts for Georgia and Ginny.
Episodes 07
“We’re Going to Serenade the Sh*t Out of You”
Georgia tries to become a better mom. She confronts Zion and they make up. Marcus begins to act different. Gil tries to become part of Austin’s life. He fails to convince Georgia he’s changed, he says he should be untrusting of her. Mr. Gitten tells Ginny to lead a lesson on the book. Georgia tracks Austin as Gil takes him out. Ginny meets Simone. Paul and Zion talk about how they don’t like Gil. Max realises Silver likes her. Marcus comes to school drunk. Georgia joins in on Ginny’s therapy session. They both feel like they’re not understood. They talk about race, boundaries and lying. Max realises Marcus is suffering because he doesn’t think Ginny should like him. Abby finds out her dad has a girlfriend, Ginny cheers her up. Gil tells Cynthia that Georgia framed him for the embezzlement she did. Ginny leaves and drops english because she can’t be in Mr. Gitten’s class anymore. Ginny and Max fall out when she doesn’t realise what Ginny is going through in class. Max realises she makes everything about herself. Silver tells her she likes her but Max leaves. Ginny throws Georgia a surprise Bachelorette Party. Max apologises. Gil takes Austin out and removes the tracker. Georgia preps her gun.
Flashbacks show Gil telling Georgia that he embezzles from his company. Zion and Gil meet on Ginny’s birthday. After they leave, we’re shown that she’s been hit.
Episodes 08
“Hark! Darkness Descends!”
It’s revealed Marcus has depression. Norah feels Jordan takes her for granted. Marcus apologises to Padma for hurting her. Abby and Press start hooking up. Paul argues with his parents about marrying Georgia, he decides to cut down on money for schools. Max is scared to get hurt again. Clint helps her feel gifted for the play. Georgia comes up with an idea that benefits the town and the school. Joe begins to worry about her. Cynthia realises that Joe likes Georgia and ends her relationship with him. AP english revolt against Mr. Gitten. Cynthia helps Georgia when Gil gets touchy. Gabriel tells Ginny about Anthony. At the play, Ginny and Norah both seem distant in their relationships. Joe apologises to Cynthia, neither want to lose their friendship. Press discovers that Abby tapes her legs. Austin watches as Georgia causes Tom to flatline. Ginny tells Marcus she knows he doesn’t want to be with her, he doesn’t want to hold her back. He doesn’t have room for anyone else’s pain, she begs him not to break them. Bracia asks Bryon on a date. Max and Silver kiss. Sophie asks her to meet and talk about things. Max and Marcus hear a gunshot.
Flashbacks show Joe standing up to a bully.
Episodes 09
“Kill Gil”
3 days earlier, Bryon tells Ginny that he’s going to ask out Bracia. She struggles to get used to her new english class as everyone treats it as a joke. Nick feels Gabriel is pulling away. Georgia tells Ginny about Anthony, saying it was an accident. She overhears Max and Marcus talk about his feelings. Jordan buys Norah a ring for their 3 year anniversary. Gil blackmails Georgia into letting him see Austin. Cynthia tells Georgia about sleeping with Joe. After Georgia kills Tom, Austin distants himself. Joe asks her if she ever liked him. She comforts Ginny after her breakup. Gil comes in and throws her to the floor. Austin shoots him. They clean up the house and sew Gil’s arm up. Georgia tells the kids about his abuse over the years but chooses not to tell Paul. She calls the wedding company and cancels. Gabriel finds out that Georgia was with Tom when he died and reports it to the police as a suspected murder.
Flashbacks show Georgia packing to run away but finding out she’s pregnant before she can leave.
